The vanadium nitrogen alloy project with capacity 1,000mtpy of Hunan Zhongxin Chemical Co.ltd started trial production. The company is the largest vanadium alloy export enterprise in Hunan province.
Vanadium nitrogen alloy is a high-tech product encouraged by government for a long period, whose foreground is vast, covering aviation and space, chemistry, battery, paint, glass, optics and medicine. The company and Beijing Furnace Co.ltd co-researched the techniques of roasting and abstracting vanadium pent oxide and vanadium nitrogen alloy. The two techniques were granted patent by State Intellectual Property Office in December 2012 and August 2013 respectively. The project was constructed in January 2013, with total investment RMB50million, and entered into trial production phase.
The project is estimated to produce output value RMB180million per year after operation, realizing interest and tax RMB25million and adding 60 posts.
