According to the latest Customs statistic, China exported 32242 tons offerroalloys (products with HS code below 7202) in May 2015, down by 35.7% Y-O-Y. In Jan-May, 2015, the total export volume was 177423 tons, down by 7% Y-O-Y. Export of ferrosilicon was124756 tons.
Meanwhile, China imported 311497 tons of ferroalloys (products with HS code below 7202) in May 2015, up by 38.5% Y-O-Y. In Jan-May, 2015, the total import volume was 1436905 tons, up by 25% Y-O-Y. Imports of ferrochrome and ferronickel were respectively at 1144687 tons and 258636 tons.
