In recent period, manganese alloys market performs calm with unchanged price. Though some mills has yet to proceed to new purchase plan amid enough stocks, manganese alloys tight supply in south for expensive power would still make mills possible for edge up buying prices.
Currently, silicon manganese 6517 is valued at around RMB7,000/mt, but June raw material buying from some mills have already suffered difficulty. It seems that a growing number of alloys producers get together to push up price in the wake of steel mills ongoing cutting. However, given poor performance on steel market, the chances of manganese alloys show dramatic increase is still small, and the price would more likely to maintain mild rising later.
