Calcium silicon was still in shortage on spot market since late Nov. Most manufacturers kept producing based on the orders from old clients. While few suppliers had inventories at hand, although CaSi inventories were few, market participators thought that CaSi market may trend to be stable in future.
CaSi products were in the shortage condition since late Sep. spoken by one manufacturer, most mills kept producing by big furnaces, and the big furnaces were few in China. Therefore, they could hardly supply stocks to market demand exclude the old consumers’ requirement.
